| Descripción | Guillermo de la Peña This article analyses the Tastoanes Festival in Guadalajarain order to describe a situation where a latent identity couldbe discovered as well as a semantic project of "discrete" andeven "oblique" cultural persistence but leading to a subversioncharge that is aimed at transforming the meanings of dailylife. The alternative history —learnt during the festivals in thelife cycles as well as in unusual facts— contrary to the rulinghistory —which occur in terms of consolidation and ofhomogeneizer reproduction of the ruling system— can beunderstood and taken as known in terms of the necessaryrecomposition of local solidarity and proclamation of the rightto difference. |
