Analco: a neighbourhood in history.

The meaning of the term neighbourhood is quite confusing. Itspresent inaccuracy is, to a great extent, due to the separationcreated towards these urban communities which belong to thecity as well as to the social and cultural processes they have gonethrough. The purpose of this article is to analyse some of thesethoughts from a historical viewpoint, taking the neighbourhoodof Analco as a case. The article emphasises on the porfiriat, sinceit is considered to be the period in which all modern materialbases were established and it also contributed to the foundationsof many traditions and present ways of living.
