Análisis de la construcción de esta movilización política desde el paradigma teórico de la escuela de la estructura de oportunidad política, con el fin de poner en evidencia que pese a las condiciones de extrema pobreza, crisis demográfica y exclusión sociopolítica de los grupos indígenas en todos los países de América Latina, un contexto favorable, junto con otras variables, facilitaría la consecución de sus objetivos sociopolíticos y económicos. El artículo pretende describir una de las variables más importantes que ha incidido en la construcción de las movilizaciones políticas indígenas en América Latina en las dos últimas décadas.

The present structure of political opportunities concerning Latin-American indigenous movements.

This is an analysis in regards to the construction of the indigenous political mobilization from the theoretical paradigm of the school of the “Structure of Political Opportunity”. The purpose of this paper is to explain that despite the conditions of extreme poverty, demographic crisis as well as sociopolitical exclusion of the indigenous groups of the countries of Latin America, a favorable context would provide them with the possibility of getting their sociopolitical and economic objectives. This paper attempts to describe one of the most important variables that have affected the construction of these political mobilizations in Latin America during the last two decades.
